About this course

Radiology plays an important part in diagnosis. The structural changes in the Human body are best described through Radiological imaging. This course in fundamentals of Applied Radiology focuses on Radiological readings and its clinical correlation. The learners will develop expertise in reading Radiological interventions. The Knowledge gained through this course will be helpful in diagnosis of diseases.

Course content and Schedule of course

• Introduction to radiology- Definition, history, types of imaging techniques: 22nd November2022
• Use of Radiology and imaging techniques in general practice and Recent advances in Radiology  :29th November2022
• Interpretation of Chest X-Ray in different views and in normal and abnormal conditions : 6th December 2022
• Interpretation of X-ray of extremity and vertebral column in normal and abnormal conditions: 13th December 2022
• Interpretation of plain and contrast X-Ray of abdomen : 20th December 2022 
• Understanding basics of CT-Scan- HRCT – 27th December 2022
• Understanding basics of USG related to Obstetrics and Gynaecological conditions – 3rd January 2023
• Understanding basics of MRI and PET scan – 10th January 2023
