The Ayurveda Seva Sangh Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Nashik is a prominent social and educational institution in the city of Nashik with, which is doing a pioneering work in the field of health services through Ayurveda.

A small seedling was planted way back in 1924 at Ahmednagar and was shifted to Nashik in 1945. Seedling has grown into a big blossoming tree on 08 acres of land in Ganesh wadi, Panchavati with a scenic beauty of a river Godavari around. So many holy souls have put in their efforts in the development of this institute to this stage.

Ayurved Seva Sangh is doing various major activities through following sections –

Ayurved Mahavidyalaya – (The unit Imparting Graduate and Post Graduate Education of Ayurved).

Silent Features of the Institute-

Ayurved Seva Sangh Ayurved Mahavidyalaya and Arogyashala Rugnalaya is an oldest institute situated at the Dakshin Kashi i.e Bank of the Godavari River with main attraction of the Kumbhamarga during Kumbhmela. Arogyashala Rugnalaya attached to the Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is providing the health care services to all the holy devotees at that whole Kumbh period. Our college is Grant-Aid -Institute belong to Maharashtra State Government.

The college institute running the UG, PG, Ph.D and fellowship courses in Kharsutra under the department of Shalya tantra, fellowship course in Panchakarma under the department of Panchakarma and diploma in Yoga Teacher under the dept of Swasthavritta.

Foreigners are also visiting this institute and updating their knowledge regarding Ayurved.

Aushadhi Bhavan – (The Institution of manufacturing scientifically proved Ayurvedic Medicines)

The Factory of the Institution producing text-based Ayurvedic medicines. The   Aushadhi Bhavan is well equipped with all the drug manufacturing machineries.

Arogyashala Rugnalaya – (Hospital)

Arogyashala Rugnalaya was established with the aim of propagating the importance of Ayurvedic Diagnostic methods and treatment to the needy patients in very low affordable cost.

Ayurved Patrika – (Monthly Magazine published for propagation of Ayurveda)

This Magazine is dedicated to the students, Faculties, Research workers for the cause of Propagation  of Ayurved. The Ayurved Patrika is peer review magazine with ISSN number.

Ayurved  Research Department – (Research & Development Unit)

The research department is established in the institute. This department working for necessary research in Ayurved and to prove the utility of this science even in these modern eras.

The institute has received Research grants from Ministry of AYUSH for two extra mural Research and one PHI (Public Health Initiative) project.

Students of the institution have received Gold medal for various subjects in University examination.

Green Campus – The Campus of the institute is surrounded by large trees and is lush green. All efforts are done to preserve the greenery. Institution is more concerned with keeping a green campus and being environmentally friendly, which ensures that pure oxygen is available throughout the building. The campus has been made greener by the addition of more trees, providing a pleasant environment for students to learn in and faculty members to work in.

The hospital attached to the college have super specialties health services such as Dialysis are available in very affordable rate for people.

Consulting services of eminent doctors in Ayurveda and Modern Medicines separately are made available for poor patients.
